All of our teen teachers and workers receive a free membership to Girls Inc.^® of Jackson County for the program year.

Your Girls Inc. of Jackson County membership entitles you to participate in any activities at the club. We are open to any suggestions for activities, projects, etc. Possibilities for trips include: a ski trip or a shopping trip during Spring Break.

There are several scholarships and awards available through Girls Inc. (our national organization) each year. As a volunteer, you may be eligible to receive such awards in the Scholar's Program or the poetry contest. See me for more information on individual awards.

In memory of Pauline McDougal, a scholarship is awarded to a high school senior member each year. This scholarship is based on leadership and inspiration to girls, as well as volunteer service to the club and community.

Volunteering at Girls Inc. of Jackson County is a good way to build up some credibility for future jobs or college references.

The classes are for girls, but they are also for you. Have fun and enjoy the girls and I can guarantee that you will get a lot of enjoyment and satisfaction from your work.
